Whether you're interested in performing, songwriting, music production, live events, content creation, game audio, podcasting or the latest music technology, Discover Careers in Music Tech! is your opportunity to meet industry professionals and explore the many exciting careers available across today's music industry.
Taking place at Newcastle University the day will combine industry speakers and career insights with live performances, hands-on technology and opportunities to meet the people and companies working across music and tech.

Meet some of the people and organisations taking part:
Alene Lautenschlager (Alene Lautz) – Artist, Songwriter & Music Producer
Artist, songwriter and producer working across pop and electronic music, with a particular interest in vocal production and storytelling. Alene is currently studying Music Production and Sound Engineering at Abbey Road Institute, where she was awarded the Sontronics Scholarship.
Jack Laidlaw – Ableton
Hear about Jack’s route into the music technology industry and his work with Ableton, one of the world’s leading music software and technology companies.

Bonners Music – Instruments & Music Technology
Explore instruments and music technology with the Bonners Music team and find out more about the products used by musicians, producers and performers, as well as careers within music retail and technology.
Generator – Music Industry Careers & Opportunities

There will also be Industry Spotlight presentations, live performances and further speakers and industry partners, with more to be announced.
