Technology in Music Education U.K. (TiME) offers Corporate Membership to companies who make, distribute and sell music technology products. Membership allows access to educators from Early Years, through to University level. It helps to make a greater number of potential customers aware of Corporate Members products and services. It also offers direct connections with other organisations, education establishments and teachers to aid sales, research and development.

Due to TiME’s affiliation with ‘Joint Audio Music Education Services’ (JAMES), Corporate Membership includes access to engage with many Universities and their students.

  • TiME Corporate Members EarMaster are the team behind the Ear Master App. The EarMaster app is both a practice tool and a learning tool for musicianship skills, aural skills, vocal training and applied music theory. Its unique pitch and rhythm detection evaluates your performance in real-time and gives you instant feedback on your intonation and timing. With its 3500 exercises for aural training, sight-singing practice, rhythm training and singing practice, EarMaster makes it possible for anyone to improve their musicianship skills and gain instant feedback on their performances.

    EarMaster ensures that you gain a theoretical understanding of musical concepts such as rhythm, harmony and melody, and that you can sing, play, and identify musical structures by ear as well as from a score. EarMaster covers all levels from Key Stage 1 through Conservatoire level, and it has both built-in courses and the option of customising exercises.

    The app is used by educational institutions worldwide, including Berklee College of Music, Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, University of Surrey, University of Westminster, and many more - as well as numerous colleges, schools and music schools from KS1 and up.

  • We are delighted to welcome Ableton as a Corporate Member of TiME. Ableton AG is a German music software company that created the legendary Ableton Live (software) and Ableton Push (hardware). Since its launch in 2001, Ableton Live has revolutionised music creation, performance, and production, becoming a staple in studios and live settings worldwide. In 2013, the company expanded its influence with the release of Push, a dedicated pad-based MIDI controller designed specifically to enhance the Live experience, offering hands-on control for producers and performers alike.   • pBoneMusic are the creators of the innovative plastic trombone, first launched in 2010. Since then, pBone has become a staple in classrooms around the world. Designed for silent practice anytime, anywhere, the Travel Sax 2 offers real saxophone fingering, Bluetooth connectivity, onboard sounds and MIDI controller functionality, all in a pocket-sized design. Founded by saxophonist Ramon Mañas, Odisei’s mission is to make practice more accessible and flexible for musicians around the world. They have also launched the Travel Clarinet, bringing the same focus on portability and silent practice to clarinettists, and offer an adaptive version of the Travel Sax for players with different physical access needs.   • TiME Corporate Members, Open Up Music, are a registered charity that been delivering award-winning programmes since 2007. Their work creates new opportunities for young disabled people to develop their musical skills, become musicians and make their own music.

    Alongside their work with special schools and the National Open Youth Orchestra (NOYO) they have developed the Clarion. Available on iPad and PC, the Clarion is an innovative accessible instrument that can be played expressively with any part of the body, including eye movement.

    The Clarion is currently offered through Open Up Music programmes, and is already played by hundreds of young disabled musicians in the National Open Youth Orchestra and Open Orchestras. It is currently being developed for wider release in 2024.

  • Robkoo is a trailblazer in the world of music technology, creating innovative digital instruments and apps designed to empower musicians of all levels. Among their impressive lineup are the Clarii Mini and the R1 Wind Synth. Robkoo’s products focus on breaking down barriers to music-making through intuitive tools that are as fun as they are accessible.

  • The Maestro Online is an interactive online music learning platform. Maestro Online offers an extensive range of Digital Music Courses and Celebrity Masterclasses for singers, organists, pianists, improvisers, aural training, composers, sitar, ukulele, guitar, performance anxiety and DAW. Maestro also offers a brand new exam syllabus ‘Popular Piano Grades’. You can now play pop music to pass globally recognised – Ofqual regulated -  accredited piano grades (Debut to Grade 8). With these exams, improvisation is encouraged and there are loads of useful resources that will help develop these skills.

    Founded in 2016, Education and Bass offers accredited and non-accredited music production courses online and in person. Their work supports learners of all abilities in mainstream, SEND, community and alternative education settings.

    Highlights include the EBRSL course, a structured programme mapped to RSL Music Production Grades 1–6 (with Grades 7–8 in development). Delivered via a dedicated Virtual Learning Environment, it’s compatible with any DAW, covers all genres, and includes resources, real-time support, and online assessment.

    They also run afterschool clubs, covering beatmaking, DAW skills, music theory, vocal and instrumental recording, and mixing. Their masterclass library offers self-paced tutorials in music production and genre-specific techniques, including Drum & Bass, Hip Hop and more.

    Founded by DJ and producer Andrew Ferguson, the team brings deep industry and education expertise across schools, colleges, youth work and prison education.

  • Diversity Music Community 1st was founded in 2017 as a CIC company that specialises in creative music workshops. We design and deliver bespoke video media, photography, dance, creative writing, and digital graphic design.

    Music and the creative arts can be an alternative tool for emotional expression which can relieve social isolation by building group connections, help individuals to learn an emotional vocabulary without the use of words and develop mental health wellbeing by stimulating positive memories and elevating their mood.

    Schools, charities and community organisations use our bespoke services to improve the quality of the relationships within social groups, working to reduce antisocial behaviour and team building.

    We have forged strategic partnerships across the Midlands, collaborating with educators, experienced musicians, social workers and the Criminal Justice System. Our core team are experts in engagement processes enabling us to lead and teach a wide genre of music and artistic mediums.

    When working with our clients, we use music and other art mediums, to address social, educational and emotional challenges. While creating pieces of work that explore these experiences, we encourage participants to use a reflective approach through critical thinking.

    Additionally, we create environments for participants to be actively involved in shaping their learning to gain a sense of ownership, and the confidence and courage to progress their lives.

  • LIFT Music is an innovative gesture-controlled app that makes music creation accessible for everyone. Using a tablet's camera, the app tracks arm movements, allowing users to control music through simple gestures, with sound and visuals responding in real-time. No instruments or prior training are needed - just movement.
