Testimonials

“With their vast expertise in Music Technology and Accessibility, TiME (Technology in Music Education UK) help and support Lancashire Music Hub in expanding the awareness of musical instruments for both disabled and able-bodied students. Using their connections, they are in a unique position to advise on new and inclusive music technologies.”

Lancashire Music Service - Ben Rapp, Deputy Head of Service

“Wolverhampton Music Service is well into its inclusive journey and we wanted to introduce adaptive technologies and instruments in a consultative way with our staff and schools. Richard and Kate couldn't have been more helpful. In January our staff were able to explore and learn about the instruments as part of a full staff training day. Later in May we wanted to show these instruments to our Special Schools at our network event. Time delivered training one week before the event and even loaned us the instruments for a short period which allowed us to deliver a really authentic day for our schools. They really do have 'TiME' for the sector and I recommend them wholeheartedly.”

Wolverhampton Music Service - Ciaran O’Donnell, Head of Music Service

“At MMF, we’ve been using the Mugo (a new instrument created by the Amber Trust and TiME) in an ensemble context, supporting access in an inclusive ensemble called Resonance. The Mugo is portable and straightforward to use; the Bluetooth feature meant we could move the device around freely without having to worry about wires / amps etc. Sound making is instantaneous and intuitive, so pupils were quickly able to get to grips with the concept of the instrument, but there is also a lot of scope for progression as they learn to play more and more complex melodies.”
