Whether you're interested in performing, songwriting, music production, live events, content creation, game audio, podcasting or the latest music technology, Discover Careers in Music Tech! is your opportunity to meet industry professionals and explore the many exciting careers available across today's music industry.
Taking place at ICMP, Queen’s Park, London, the day will combine industry speakers and career insights with live performances, hands-on technology and opportunities to meet the people and companies working across music and tech.

Meet the Industry: Hear from professionals working across music, creativity and technology as they share their career journeys, the skills they use and their advice for getting started.
Meet some of the people and organisations taking part:
Kuljit Bhamra MBE – Musician, Composer and Innovator
Internationally renowned tabla player, composer and creator of Tabla Touch, an innovative digital approach to playing tabla.
Tony Nwachuku – CDR (Create Define Release)
Producer, artist and founder of CDR, Tony works across music production, creative development and supporting the next generation of music makers.
Alene Lautenschlager (Alene Lautz) – Artist, Songwriter & Music Producer
Artist, songwriter and producer working across pop and electronic music, with a particular interest in vocal production and storytelling. Alene is currently studying Music Production and Sound Engineering at Abbey Road Institute, where she was awarded the Sontronics Scholarship.
Stuart Grimshaw – Founder, LIFT Music
Music technologist and founder of LIFT Music, an innovative music platform using movement and interactive technology to create new ways of making and experiencing music.

Try over 40 different digital instruments and music technology products, including the latest accessible and adaptive technologies. Explore new ways of creating and performing music and discover some of the companies and careers behind the technology.
Kuljit Bhamra & Keda Music – Digital Tabla and Musical Innovation
Discover how music, technology and instrument design come together through Kuljit Bhamra and Keda Music’s work with Tabla Touch, and hear about the ideas and development involved in creating a new digital instrument.
LIFT Music – Music, Movement & Interactive Technology
Experience LIFT Music and see how movement and interactive technology can be used to control and create music. Find out how creative thinking, technology and accessibility have shaped its development.
Cosmo – Accessible & Interactive Music Technology
Try Cosmo and explore how sound, light and physical interaction can create accessible ways to make music. See how inclusive design is opening up new possibilities for musical creativity and participation.
Sontronics – Microphones, Recording & Audio Technology
Explore professional microphones and their use in recording, performance and music production, with an introduction to microphone technology and careers in professional audio.
There will also be Industry Spotlight presentations, live performances and further speakers and industry partners, with more to be announced.
