We are delighted to welcome Crown Lane Studio in Morden, South London, as new Corporate Members of TiME.

Home to number-one charting artists such as Dave Rowntree (Blur) and Will Young, and trusted by organisations including the BBC, Canva and TikTok, Crown Lane is a friendly and professional recording complex offering exceptional facilities and expertise. Their experienced team combines technical excellence with a welcoming, community-focused ethos.

The studio features a custom-built Oram T Series 24 analogue desk, Genelec 8040 monitoring, Universal Audio converters, and a superb collection of Sontronics, Neumann and AKG microphones, alongside a full range of instruments, amps and keyboards. Sessions run primarily in Pro Tools or Logic, with flexible setups for in-person and virtual recording.

In addition to their commercial work, Crown Lane runs a wide range of workshops, courses and online training, including the brilliant Help! I’m Teaching Music Tech, supporting educators to develop confidence with recording and production.

Accessibility sits at the heart of Crown Lane’s work. From their crowd-funded ceiling track hoist in the accessible toilet, braille menus and BSL-trained team, to quieter times for those with sensory needs, the studio is setting the standard for inclusion in commercial recording spaces. Their attention to access is something TiME are huge fans of.
