We’re pleased to share that Leics Connect has been awarded funding from Youth Music.
TiME – Technology in Music Education UK has been awarded funding from Youth Music to deliver Leics Connect, a new seven-month talent development programme taking place across Leicester in 2026.
Delivered in partnership with Leicestershire Music, Leicester City Council, HQ C.A.N and members of the Leicester Music Board, the programme will support young people aged 14–18 facing barriers to progression in music.
Leics Connect brings together mentoring, digital music technology, live performance opportunities and industry insight, culminating in a youth-led performance at Leicester Riverside Festival. The programme builds on learning from the Leics Connect pilot and strengthens progression routes between education, community and the music industry.
This project is backed by Youth Music, thanks to the National Lottery via Arts Council England.
