Whether you're interested in performing, songwriting, music production, live events, content creation, game audio, podcasting or the latest music technology, Discover Careers in Music Tech! is your opportunity to meet industry professionals and explore the many exciting careers available across today's music industry.
Taking place at Bristol Beacon, this event will have a particular focus on accessible and inclusive music technology, alongside the wider range of careers across music and tech. The day will combine industry speakers and career insights with live performances, hands-on technology and opportunities to meet the people and companies working across the sector.

James Creed – Composer, Musician and Open Up Music
James is a composer, musician and educator who also teaches at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Hear about his creative career and his work with Open Up Music, creating new opportunities for accessible and inclusive music-making.
Rightkeysonly – EDM Artist & Amplifying Accessibility
An electronic music artist and accessibility advocate, Rightkeysonly combines a career in EDM with running Amplifying Accessibility. Hear about their experiences as a performer and their work to make music and the wider industry more accessible.
Andrew Lansley – Unmute Roster
Hear from Andrew about his work with Unmute Roster and the importance of accessibility, representation and creating more inclusive opportunities across the music industry.

Try over 40 different digital instruments and music technology products, including the latest accessible and adaptive technologies. Explore new ways of creating and performing music and discover some of the companies and careers behind the technology.
Soundbeam – Accessible Music Technology
Explore how movement and gesture can be transformed into sound and music. Discover how accessible technology can open up creative music-making and performance for people with a wide range of abilities.
Clarion – Accessible Digital Music-Making
Explore Clarion, Open Up Music’s accessible digital musical instrument, and discover how new approaches to instrument design and technology can create opportunities for disabled musicians to compose, perform and make music.
Recharge Audio – Sound, Production & Audio Technology
Explore the creative and technical world of audio production and discover how music technology is used to record, produce and shape sound. Find out more about the skills and career pathways involved in working with professional audio.
UAL – Inclusive Design, Education & Creative Practice
Explore how accessibility and inclusive practice connect with creative education, technology and future careers. Discover some of the thinking and skills involved in creating more inclusive creative experiences.
There will also be Industry Spotlight presentations, live performances and further speakers and industry partners, with more to be announced.
