The Music & Drama Education Expo is almost here!

We are looking forward to attending the Music and Drama Education Expo!

Taking place at the Business Design Centre in London on February 23rd and 24th, it's free to attend - register here, and check out the programme here.

This year sees more music technology companies exhibiting than ever before. Please do go and talk to them - you never know what you might find out and what they may be able to offer you in help and support.

Music technology companies include:

Auralia and Musition (from Australia) – online ear training and theory programmes. Both come with automated assessments that provide immediate feedback to your students. Teachers can also create worksheets and track student progress. (B61)

EarMaster (from Denmark) – Offers to help students to improve their aural, sight-singing and rhythm reading skills and for teachers to be able to track their students' progress. (Stand B30)

Also exhibiting are Avid Sibelius (C41), Charanga (B58), Focusrite (C32), MusicFirst (C29) and Steinberg (D40) with their Yamaha colleagues.

If you want to learn more about using a DAW and notation systems in education, head to Steinberg's talk at 1:30pm on the 23rd and AVID Sibelius' showcase at 2pm on the 24th. Auralia & Musition will demonstrate their ear training and music theory platform at 2.45pm on the 24th.

A woman from Chiltern Music Therapy is showing a table full of technology used for music-making

If you are interested in music therapy or working with young people with SEN/D, then Chiltern Music Therapy's showcase at 2pm on the 23rd will be one to catch. CMT have previously attended our Connectivity to Music Technology, SEND and Inclusion conference, where they showed how they use a variety of tech-based instruments to engage with their service users.

We are excited to see great examples of technology used in all areas of music education. There is plenty at the event to inspire leaders, teachers and students.

We hope to see you there!
